Napco recently added its first ever indoor/outdoor biometric keypad to its innovative line of Gemini products. With the touch of a finger, end-users can integrate our BioReader keypad with most brands of alarm panels with a keyswitch or use it for standalone alarm and garage door access control. BioReader works with all Gemini and Express security systems (3 and 4-wire bus) and operates electric garage doors and lighting systems with ease. Users can arm/disarm the system and/or activate relay groups with the touch of a button and never have to worry again about losing their keys or memorizing complicated codes. Our optical biometric fingerprint reader eliminates code pass-along and ensures reliable use by those considered hard to print, such as consumers whose fingerprints are worn out such as manual laborers, elderly, etc. 3-way “live” finger detection verification thwarts use by imposters using photocopies or fake rubber impressions while anti-substitution prevents unauthorized keypad replacement.

Fingerprint enrollment and deletion takes approximately 5 seconds to complete. Once users are properly enrolled, their finger allows them entry into both residential and commercial properties. BioReader can also be used to control parking lot gates and restrict unauthorized personnel access to sensitive areas, files, pharmaceuticals, expensive equipment, weapons and more. Napco’s BioReader is rugged, vandal-resistant and is made with durable alloy metals to withstand temperatures ranging from 14˚ to 122˚F (-10˚ to 50˚C). Among its many characteristics, BioReader includes a high-security biometric ambush feature that allows pre-selected buttons and your enrolled finger to silently call police during robberies. Should vandals attempt to rip the BioReader keypad from its building, an alarm will trip and alert the authorities to the scene.

Audible and visual indicators like our Piezo sounder prompts/feedback and ready LEDs plus a bio-feedback indicator alerts users of the keypad’s armed status. In high traffic environments such as entrances to busy office buildings, BioReader includes Stealth/Blanking Mode for no-show alarm status LEDs. This feature reveals alarm status only to authorized users without arming/disarming first. The alarm status captured in BioReader’s memory is automatically displayed with an LED indicator as a precautionary warning to returning visitors before they enter. For extra privacy from passers by, try our durable scratch-resistant optic glass removable privacy shield.

Naperville, IL (March 8, 2010) There have been 360-degree cameras in the market that have come and gone for several years. At this year’s ISC West in Las Vegas March 24th-26th Sentry 360 will unveil a 360-degree product they think will change the way security professionals will look at this technology. Sentry 360’s FullSight™ Mini or FS-IP2000 is the size of a computer mouse & is the only 360-degree of its kind to adopt industry leading H.264 compression. With the combination of low compression, small form factor and on-board storage capability the FullSight mini has a series of
features that are unmatched in the immersive 360-degree market.

Josh Skorich Director of Technology says, “This product was designed with 2 strategies in mind. First, like all our products, the FullSight™ Mini can integrate into any 3rd party NVR software with our SDK for correcting the fisheye’s perspective view during live and retrospective full Pan-tilt-zoom. Second, with the capability of the on-board storage Micro SD card and full situational awareness, this product can be a stand alone solution with no need for 3rd party software or hardware. In addition, the camera’s storage can be accessed via a web browser interface and users can view the camera in multiple interfaces such as full 360° view, panoramic, quad view with (4 angles from 1 camera) or single view that can be independently controlled with full pan-tilt-zoom.”

Sentry 360′s FullSight Mini is designed to change the way installations are designed. Traditional camera technology most times produces 5-10% of the information within a Field-of-View (FOV) that’s needed to gain the entire story. Immersive video or 360-degree technology has no moving parts and no blind spots and delivers complete situational awareness to the end-user with no unbroken video. Simply put, if a camera was pointed to the right and the incident happened on the left, the camera was worthless. 360-degree technology embraces wide-angle lens with high resolution sensors and, with software, corrects the user’s perspective view in a dewarped or unwrapped section of the source video, for full retrospective Pan-Tilt-Zoom capability in live or recorded video.

Sentry 360 will be displaying there entire family 360-degree solutions at ISC West in booth 4149. The FSIP2000 FullSight™ Mini is also up for an award from the Security Industry Association’s New Product Showcase and will be judged by industry professionals at ISC West. Please contact Sentry 360 directly to schedule a demonstration at the event.

About Sentry 360 Security, Inc.
